World of Warcraft - Midsummer Style and Achievement: Burning Hot Pole Dance

Midsummer Fire Festival is here in World of Warcraft, and there are clothes on offer!

I will admit these aren't my favourite transmogs, but they are available for very little effort,  plus there's a related achievement as well, the Burning Hot Pole Dance

The vendor in Stormwind is near the Trading Post.

TThe currency is Burning Blossoms, which you can pick up from Midsummer quests, such as honoring flames around the WOW world.

For the achievement, you need to wear this outfit, made up of the 3 pieces below.

Once you have all the transmog pieces, click on the pole nearby and spin for 60 seconds.

Just click it once and wait a few seconds, then you'll spin automatically. 

You don't have to run around the pole, you can spin on the spot.

World of Warcraft - The First Look at Housing Furnishings

The amazing people at Wowhead have datamined our first glimpse at player housing "assets" for World of Warcraft.
There isn't a lot to see, but there's enough to get me excited!

It looks like the furniture and furnishings will be based around popular races and styles in the game.

I am going to love Night Elf and Nightborne themes!

World of Warcraft - Legacy Reputation and Tabard Vendors Part 2

When player housing is released in World of Warcraft, it's going to be really exciting to buy bits and pieces from various vendors around Azeroth and all the other areas and expansions.

We need to be prepared with max reputation (legacy renown) in all areas and expansions, so we don't miss out on any of the items and patterns available for houses! 

Some vendors will sell ready-made items and some will sell patterns for all the professions to make things. You will be able to sell your housing items on the auction house as well, so there's a LOT of reasons to get this sorted out before the Midnights expansion.

The strategy is the same - Wear a tabard and head for Botanica and Mechanar dungeons in Tempest Keep. Once you've maxed the reputation for one faction, just switch tabards and keep going. It's tedious but easy on a high level toon. Plus there are lots of patterns and transmogs available in the old dungeons!

Be aware that legacy reputation isn't warbound (yet) so pick one toon and work on it on that one. For War Within, Dragonflight and Shadowlands the renown is warbound, so it doesn't matter which toon completes world quests and other renown generating activities.

But for this, pick your "Reputation toon" and go for it!

This article focuses on these tabard vendors:

Tushui Pandaren:
Once you've picked up your Stormwind tabard (refer to previous article), head to the island outside of town where all the portals are located. West of the portal island is a small pagoda, where you'll find the Tushui Pandaren tabard vendor.

Darnassus and Gilneas:

The easiest way to get from Stormwind to Darnassus is via the postal on the leftmost dock in Stormwind Harbour, or find a mage and ask them to create a portal.
The tabard vendor is next to the Darnassus flight master, along with the Gilneas tabard vendor.

Gnomeregan and Ironforge:

Ironforge and Gnomeregan tabard vendors are right next to the Ironforge flight master.

Exodar:
Use the portal to Exodar in the Stormwind Mage Tower and head for the flight master.

Now you have all the tabards and you're ready to go to Tempest Keep, to collect all that wonderful legacy reputation.

World of Warcraft - Pandaria Timewalking Vendor for Transmogs

Pandaria Timewalking is back in World of Warcraft and the vendor has some lovely gowns for sale.
In case you weren't aware, Timewalking tokens are warbound, so you can transfer them between toons.

The vendor is on Timeless Isle. To get there, take a portal from your capital city to Jade Forest (Pandaria), then use the flight master to get to Timeless  Isle.

There are two gowns for sale, Gilded Shado-Pan Robes and Embroidered Shado-Pan robes. There are also separate tops and skirts (kilts). I bought the gilded robes.

World of Warcraft - Isle of Dorn Transmog - World Quest Reward

Every few days I check the World Quests in Khaz Algar (War Within), in case there are free clothes on offer.
This gorgeous gown, called the Alighted Robes of the Peerless, was from the Kobyss Kibosh world quest in Hallowfall.

World of Warcraft - Wrap of Unity (Guild Cape with Teleport)

Joining a guild in World of Warcraft has many benefits, aside from the social aspect.

One of the benefits is the Wrap of Unity, which is a cloak containing a TELEPORT to either Stormwind or Ogrimmar. It has a long cooldown but is very handy for getting out of a tight spot!

It's available from guild vendors in major cities for 300 gold, once you reach Guild Level 15.

For Alliance, the Stormwind vendor is very easy to find.

Head to the main city gates and you’ll find the shop on the right hand side, just before you exit the city. 

HORDE:

The Guild Vendor in Orgrimmar is located in the Valley of Strength, right next to the tabard vendor.

World of Warcraft - War Skirts! Are you freakin' kidding me?

I don't know what sort of interns they have working at Blizzard's WOW Transmog Department, but they need to be fired.

This is the new coat from BFA Timewalking (see previous blog) -it looks ridiculous and is unacceptable. Other pants and skirts work just fine!

The war skirts have been broken for AGES!
If you think Blizzard should fix them, please comment below.

World of Warcraft - My first Gown Transmog from Battle for Azeroth Timewalking

Timewalking is a great way to accumulate new transmogs in World of Warcraft. You also collect Timewalking Tokens, which can be used to buy transmogs, toys and mounts from Timewalking vendors.

This gorgeous gown transmog, Robes of the Reborn Serpent, was a drop in one of the Battle for Azeroth timewalking dungeons.

 

World of Warcraft - Battle for Azeroth (BFA) Timewalking Transmogs

 BFA Timewalking is here and there are some GORGEOUS jacket transmogs to buy from the vendor.

The vendor is Churbo, and he is located in Boralus, at the top of the steps in Tradewinds Market. 

There are a few transmog pieces I adore, including Ashvane Smuggler's Attire, Bloodsail Smuggler's Attire and Time-Lost Tempest Caller, a gorgeous crown.
